Traveling towards southern Italy and it’s gorgeous islands with an electric car can be tedious, but if you’re planning to to discover Campania, Puglia, Sicily and Sardinia by Ev, here are some addresses where charging stations are located within the property and are free of charge for customers.

Starting from the fascinating territories around Vesuvio, venues with complimentary charging are Art Hotel Villa Fiorella in Massa Lubrense and Art Hotel Gran Paradiso both providing 2 Tesla 22kW and 1 Porsche 11kW charger. Along the statale Amalfitana scenic road, the legendary San Pietro provides a perfect welcome to motorists with a panoramic parking completed by 1 complimentary charger (2 sockets with 22kW) and 24/7 assistance from the valet service. Laqua Countryside in Ticciano has 2 Porsche chargers while for those travelling to Ischia with an Ev, the stay at beautiful Mezzatorre Hotel & Thermal Spa, comes with a free 22kW unit.

Puglia, Sardinia, Sicily

Once in Puglia, the famous Borgo Egnazia in Savelletri offers guests the free connection to wallbox chargers (one Tesla, the other universal) powered by 22kW. On the shoreline of the Golfo di Taranto and not far from Santa Maria di Leuca – southern offshoot of the Italian peninsula – the Vivosa Apulia Resort provides guests with 4 chargers (22kW of power) on a complimentary basis. The same goes for customers checkin-in at Masseria Fontanelle in the province of Lecce where the property has 2 chargers with 22kW. In Sardinia, electric charging within the hotel premises is one of the many exceptional services from Forte Village in Santa Margherita di Pula. Located in the parking amidst lush gardens and adjacent to the Sulcitana road, guests will find both a Tesla and a Porsche charger. Both are free for guests. In Porto Rotondo Hotel Abi d'Oro Beach Hotel & Spa also boasts two chargers while in the heart of the Costa Smeralda, customers are welcomed by complimentary charging in all three of the Luxury Collection properties in the island such as Hotel Romazzino, Hotel Cala di Volpe and Hotel Pitrizza. Electric charging might be a little issue in Sicily as at the moment, in house charging for Ev vehicles is present on Mount Etna foothills at the Relais & Chateaux I Monaci delle Terre Nere. On the southern coastine, Adler Spa Resort Sicilia will be inaugurated on July 7th with 4 chargers powered by 22kW. The service is free for guests staying at the hotel.
